If you’re a regular reader of a particular magazine then it makes sense to subscribe. By subscribing to your favourite magazine you can be sure that you’ll receive a copy every time it is issued. Many people choose to subscribe through the publisher and have a copy posted to them every week, or however frequently it is published. Alternatively you could simply ask your local newsagent to hold back a copy for you every time it’s issued.

It’s usually cheaper to subscribe to a magazine than to buy every issue as it’s release, so you can save yourself some money by subscribing. Also free gifts are often given away with the subscriptions as an incentive to subscribe.

However it’s not just printed magazines that you can subscribe to. Many people have electronic subscriptions to electronic newsletters or blogs. The content will then be emailed to them directly every time it is issue. This is usually free, but some premium services will have to charge for this. Some people use RSS feeds, which are pretty similar to magazine subscriptions in so far as you’ll receive a regular update on your favourite blogs etc. As with subscriptions to printed media some newsletters and blogs will give their readers an incentive to subscribe such as access to exclusive content.

Whichever way you choose to subscribe and whatever it is you’re subscribing to you’ll soon find that that it’s an excellent way to save time and money.
